The 24-year-old Brazilian defender was interesting both AC and Inter Milan, but the Fluminense ace is set to pen a four-year contract with the Rossoneri on Monday.
“He is a great defender,” said Carlo Ancelotti, who will land the player for €10million. “He was named Brazil’s best player last year, but he will now need to prove himself in the European and Italian scenario.
“Nonetheless, I believe he is the best stopper on the transfer market at the moment, hence he will surely be a wonderful investment for this club’s future.”
